We have so clearly lost our ways. The prognoses are many, the process of diagnosis too divisive and tiring to get into, and our concern now becomes too much so on the future.
If we want to reach the stars, we need to get up to scuff, the lot of us so that none get left behind.
We actively dumb down aspects of our society so the rest can more easily continue to coast by, but we do not ensure the dumbed-down are left fit to contently survive.
Too greedy we’ve grown, too comfortable with abuse, it won’t be too long before the violence spills over. People died today over Popeyes.
We have forgotten our faith, not the one with the names, but the one with the spirit. The connection between the neighbor and the self. We also squander needlessly so much potential talent.
Don’t we want to live in a species that allows access to the stars for everybody? Why should a child born attached to any particular name be more likely to be the first President of Mars than any other less fortunately born?
We must reconfigure our strategies if we want to lead the way forward, we must figure out how to well craft our philosophy of the union because as things currently stand, the Han Chinese currently march upon the future of man. No Americans win, regardless of background, for the Chinese Republic only works on Communist Chinese interests for today and according to their plan.
We should not now prepare for another Cold War, but instead invest heavily in the United Nations and the shared human future. Regain lost clout, act as the fuel that powers the engine of humanity’s future, and end the swaggering imperialism that distracts from the true goals that now truly imperil us. Our strength will come from the utter need of our diplomacy and aid, our commitment to a shared cause beyond our own interests. We should begin the transfer of American military powers to pure United Nations control, keeping only forces that actually provide for the national defense, and not the current illusion that exists. No act would show more faith to the world, more quickly alleviate current untenable military spending, and help America turn the page on this weary chapter.
Let the United Nations play the true global police officers with our soldiers integrated over time with other nations soldiers, creating a more united mankind, and lift those moral burdens from the shoulders of American citizens alone. We need the time to get our house more in order and can focus our efforts onto pushing mankind into space. We should encourage private enterprise in America to lead the way across the globe, act as the goodwill of national diplomatic efforts. Take care of our citizens, foster the healthy competition of small business that cuts the fat that has so clearly overtaken our lives. How much more efficient could our society be, how much cheaper, if we have truly healthy competition? We go to the stars because no task is more hugely Sisyphean, nothing more daunting, more ripe for failure, more awe-inspiring than constantly looking up into space at the gods in the sky and knowing we have the ability to put ourselves up there among them. If we fail, we fail, but if we succeed we have become a step closer to our deserved godhood. We know we are the children, so let us live up to our birthright.
